Abdelrahman is a Doctoral candidate at the Professorship for Machine Intelligence in Orthopedics / Human-Centered Computing and Extended Reality Lab of TU Munich. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and communication from Cairo university after which he worked as a software engineer at Siemens focusing on EDA simulators. In 2020, he obtained his MSc. degree in computer science with a focus on computer vision and it’s application in the medical domain.  Abdelrahman gained industrial experience at Siemens AG, Infineon Tehcnologies, Canon Medical research Europe, and Carl Zeiss Meditec AG.
