Grateful for an inspiring stay at Stanford University, wonderfully hosted by the IMMERS Lab and Christoph Leuze, Bruce Daniel, and Brian Hargreaves kindly supported by BaCaTeC.

Our researchers Hannah Schieber and Constantin Kleinbeck are collaborating with the IMMERS team and Stanford researchers Yuxuan Wu and Wally Niu on XR visualization of medical imaging and 3D reconstruction of surgical procedures in a BaCaTech project, where we have the opportunity to jointly explore new approaches for immersive technologies in medicine.

Daniel Roth had the privilege of giving a talk at the Richard M. Lucas Center for Imaging and exchanging ideas with colleagues from Stanford Radiology, Bioengineering, XR, Machine Intelligence and the Stanford University School of Medicine. Many thanks to Brian Hargreaves, Nikolas Blevins, Trishia Chemaly and Fred Baik for their time, inspiring discussions, and impressive demos, and to Jeremy Bailenson and his team for enabling to catch up and have a fascinating glimpse into their work.
